I think you need to watch the replay. Just before impact Nikorima lowers himself even more. There is no way Fitzgibbon should of been sent for 10 there. It’s a joke.
I posted that after watching the replay at halftime haha. Nikorima dropped a bit at the last second, but since he was already crouched the arm was still heading for the head.

Anyway, no point arguing it forever ... agree to disagree.

He couldnt avoid it? Seriously?

Some full on one eyed supporters here.

Im not saying it was brutal, im not saying I want him suspended, but im saying I expect the NRL will cite him.

He could easily have just fallen on him, didnt need that.

You are taught to tackle the player, he is on the floor it's fair game....he hit him on the shoulder first and I still didn't see any forceful contact.

I agree that he will get cited and 100% suspended, that's never in doubt.

Some good moments from that 1st half, and also some not so good moments.

We do seem to have a lot more intent, less dawdling and some fire in the belly. Really liked Clifford's defence early on as well as Brailey cover tackle and a great chase despite being at long odds of catching Aitken.

16-12 Knights, Clifford to score the match winner.

He was crouched over the whole time Fitz was coming towards him in that example.
He wasn't. Go watch it in real time. There is 1 second to react to the fall. Fitz was coming forward quickly, once it hit Kodi on the shoulder Fitz was 3 steps from him. No way his stopping or reacting to anything.

That’s shocking by Young and the Knights in general. You saw first hand how strong that wind was in the first half and had no reaction to it to the kickoff.

Field position half for us, we have the wind, stand up in defence, get long kicks away and push them back on to their line.

Then barge a forward over.
