Yup JOJO, I definitely cringe whenever I see we have Cecchin, I don't like using the refs as an excuse but I'm convinced that guy has it in for us lol

I think we were good tonight minus the result obviously, everyone seemed to have had quite good games, well improved games that's for sure. I can see some real positive signs there, we just need to hold onto the f'ing ball!! Our goal line defence is outstanding and when we can control the ball better and build pressure it's that defence that will win us our games. I feel we're half way there now and I'm staying positive that we'll start to click and become a top quality side coming into the second half of the season. We can take alot out of this game and now we'll go away for a bye and come back against the Titans with Buderus back in the 9 and hopefully we'll be able to string some wins together.

I was proud of Cuthbertson and Boyd for improving their game out of sight tonight, nothing brilliant but it was great to see them playing much better. Finally.

Referees don't want us to win, obviously. Boyd throws the best pass of the year that is flat at worst and yeah you know the rest :/

Best pass of the year? Are you kidding? It was one of the most stupid passes of the year! There is no doubt that a pass to tahu would have been much more appropiate. It blew an almost certain try

Costigan again a waste of space.

How on earth we are happy to keep Costigan in the side for next year, but move on Taia ... I will never know. I know Costigan isn't off-contract, but neither were a lot of our players last year. It's time he was put out to pasture - he is rubbish!

Would be more than happy to re-sign Mason and say goodbye to Tui, Hilder, Costigan, Faaoso and even Taia. We can't keep getting dominated like we have been, something has to be done it's probably the only flaw in our side.

Most stupid pass would have to go to Roberts at the start, firing a bullet to Taia right next to him, with 3 guys unmarked outside of him.

Don't know why we always complain about getting repeat sets either. We struggle to hold onto the ball at the best of times, what's a repeat set going to get us.

The refs certainly didn't cost us, we were actually probably lucky with the scoreline, but didn't we have something like a 1=20 record with Cecchin after Johns had a go at him that time?

He is so slow, and adds nothing to our attack and drops the ball all the time, how he keeps his position bugs me, I was hoping that he did get hurt tonight that's how filthy I am on him. Taia should be retained with him Scott Houston and McKinnon being our rotation, with 2 big front rowers on bench and a handy utility. Bye bye Edwards, costigan,

Gonna focus on the positives rather than the negatives. Thought Adams had a great game on debut, did his job and I would have him starting if Bedsy isnt back after the bye. Thought Boyd was better tonight, was more involved and he is starting to find his feet.

Thought our outside backs were good tonight. Uate was a handful, Tahu and McManus were solid as usual. Thought Sau had one of his better games tonight.

It worries me that the only time we every really looked dangerous was the first 15 minutes when Mason was on the field...Our go forward is terrible though and we still cant score points! How many times were we held up over the line??

Don't know how we are going to go this season but just watching us sit above Penrith, Canberra, GC and Parra on the ladder right now sucks big time!!

I would be wrapped if Bennett actually picked on form and not name, costigan has to be dropped till he hits form, I'd rather give someone the opportunity that would kill to play first grade or even debut like Adams did tonight, some of these blokes think they deserve to walk straight into side cause they've played for qld etc, on form I'd say McKinnon at 20 is a better footballer. Playin bad in a winning side may giv u second chances, but playing consistently bad in a losing side, see ya buddy.

How many times have we seen Uate step through the defense, and then try to put a right step on the fullback and get tackled, needs to change it up abit, or probably in the case of Bowen and Coote, just run over the top of them.

The Knights really lack the Impact FRF. Once Willie and Snowden went of we got smashed and the 2 FRF Cuthbo and Tuimavave kept Making stupid errors . I also think we need a consistent HB before we win a comp. Don't get me wrong Mullen is good and i am a fan of his, but he is way too inconsistent to be a premiership winning half and i am not just talking about tonights game As far as im concerned Gids isn't a half either. Unfortunately on current form and the current injuries i dont think the knights will make the 8 but hopefully i am proven wrong. Up The Knights!!!!

i honestly for the first time ever am considering not even watching any more games, let alone going to them. We are boring to watch and have no structure, sau and aku get us out of trouble. Mullen has to go we need two new halves simple as that. Roberts doesn't really know what to do, boyd was better so was cuthbo and snowden. but after we make a break no one knows where to go or what to do, no vision in attack, lets just kick it into the in goal area...

Think we all wish we could buy a star half and two solid front rowers, am happy with Mullen but we need a dominant half to compliment him. Theirs not to many on the market that we'd afford that's the problem. Bennett has some tough decisions,

I like Roberts, but he doesn't touch the ball anywhere near enough for a number 7. Mullen is doing all the organising and we don't want that. I've also noticed Roberts comes up with a lot of bad decisions - the one tonight when he put the short ball onto Taia when there were players out wide is an example. Brilliant defender for his size though.

I watched the Knights NSW Cup replay on Fox through the week and Adrian Davis looks like a very creative halfback. Has all the skills a genuine no.7 needs imo. He's pretty small though, so not sure how he'd defend in FG. Albert Kelly also looked very impressive at 5/8, particularly his kicking game.

Mullen has to go we need two new halves simple as that.

Surely you can't say for Mullen to leave, he's been one of our standouts this year and has improved heaps! Him and Boyd are starting to make a very good attacking combination aswell. Atleast we get the bye next week, Buderus gets one week closer to recovery & maybe we can string a win together against the Titans. If we can't defeat GCT then we should seriously take a look at ourselves.

Exactly. I'm not saying get rid of Mullen or anything like that, As ASJ82 said we just need someone to compliment his style. Gidley in the Halves or Roberts isnt the answer imo

Definitely! He never beats the final man after making a break. The direct approach was probably the one to take with Bowen ... put yourself in Bowen's shoes and think about what you would least want to confront, and that is Uate running full tilt straight at you!

Am i the only on that thinks in our fowards head, bar one or two, they think "Sh!t, i have to make another run" instead of "I WANT ANOTHER RUN". I think thats why Bennet bought Scott over, he has aggression and does the hard yards.

Another on is our halfback... Roberts/Stigg are great back ups, but not a whole season halfback. IMO, Gidley being out for the season is possibly the best thing to happen to us, in terms of next year. He comes back as almost a new signing, and sitting out will really give him another dimension and look on our game, how he understands it ect. Along with giving him time to watch some of the great halfbacks in the game.

As I and others have stated we really need 2 big decent props, weather they be one from our NSW Cup/Juniors (Sims, Laurie, R. Mason) and another of contract one (Packer, Kasiano, Lima, or even Masoe). It was easy to see how much of a back foot we took once our starting props came off....

We played better than most weeks, let's put it that way. Boyd & Cuthbertson actually looked way better for once. Refs were pretty bad but the Cowboys were too good anyway. That's all i'm gonna say about tonight.

Roberts is NSW Cup standard. The time has come for Bennett to get rid of Costigan. It is no longer disappointing that Costigan isn't firing. He quite clearly has got nothing. Evarn good bloke but not even first grade at Parramatta standard. As long as they stand and wait for the attack to come to them instead of moving up and hammering someone we'll continue to get our back door kicked in.

In all fairness to our halves, they are playing behind a pack of forwards who are being dominated in both attack and defensively. Add to this our fundamental mistakes and we cannot build any momentum or pressure. Forwards win matches = why we are losing.
