PRE-SEASON CHALLENGE R2 - KNIGHTS V STORM - 1.45 Sat 24th - Churchill Park, Fiji

He looks like he’s got the goods for sure. If he continues to rip in in training and like he did on the field today, it’s hard to see any outcome for him but that he’s an elite player in his position.
Awesome that's what i was hoping to hear, he looked like a gun in super league and for England was just hoping it could translate to NRL.

I don't expect it straight away but by the 3/4 mark of season he should be doing well.

Was always good with effort plays for Wigan so no surprise. Had another play where he rushed up and forced an error inside the Storms' 10m. Sucks that he had such a costly defensive error early because that's all people will point to but he was very solid otherwise with a few really good moments.

Moceidreke went ok, could easily be put in for Tuala who in fairness had his better games on left wing.
Happy with Lucas and Cartwright sharing 12 and 17
Hastings and Gamble at 6 & 7.
Need Brailey back, 9 or 14, didn’t like Jones R today

if moceidreke was any chance of making the team he would of trialed at some point on the right edge, both games he only played left side.

Where is Les?

I'm surprised with all the Dom talk he hasn't popped up.

(Love your work Les. 😘)
I've had about 20 schooners. While I appreciate that others seem to notice the difference in our attack without Dom, it's not something I was hoping to be proven right about. I've said my peace. Hopefully we can find another avenue for easy points.

We lost something immeasurable, which just happened to coincide with perhaps our greatest run of all time and resulted in a club record of 25 tries. Only time will exactly what we've lost.

Tuala 12 runs 126m is quality for 40mins.
Just because he isn’t pulling of the big superstar plays and try's does not mean he isn’t working hard.
Out of all the wing contenders we need someone who is willing to do the effort stats.
Try's mean nothing at the end of the day hard work will turn into points.
Yep his the round 1 winger for sure and season unless someone dethrones him, for starters he can catch a Kalyn bullet!

Dom is awesome. He’s also a winger.

Kai Pearce-Paul looks like he’s on a similar talent level, doesn’t have the blistering pace obviously but he looks incredibly strong, moves well for his size and weight, and looks like he’s got great ball skills including ambidextrous offloading ability - a rare skill. He’s also a back rower which, in my opinion, is one or two rungs higher on the “positional importance” ladder. If he pans out to be as good as Dom but as an edge forward, he’s a more valuable, less replaceable player (IMO - I think second row is one of the positions where the league-wide standard is lowest, and elite guys are hardest to find).

And if Will Pryce pans out as a five-eighth we’re absolutely laughing. Even if he’s never better than the exact middle of the pack in his position (so, 9th), that’s also more valuable than an elite winger.
