I think both things are semi-true.Yeah, many were saying it was phoenix not supplying good ball, causing the forwards to not come onto the ball and Brailey was the answer. Now it seems to have flipped.
I think it's neither and we need maximum minutes from both as they are both seeming to actually try.
Why we can't make meters in the same situations as other teams has me mystified
Unfortunately Phoenix has inconsistent distribution (sometimes he throws the perfect 20m pass to a playermaker out in front and you wonder why isn't this happening all the time) and particularly struggles with manipulating markers and bringing forwards onto the ball.
Brails is generally consistent in that regard (though has a few shockers under fatigue) and is solid defensively but doesn't bring anything near Crosslands line speed, dominant tackling or support play.
Neither are our big problems, would be nice if both could start taking notes from the other and progressing together.
