NRL Round 4- Bulldogs Vs Knights - 3:00pm Saturday, 28th March - Accor Stadium

Dogs game is simple, they kick for their wingers and Galvin has his predictable short ball to Preston.

We need to adjust to their rushing defense, as other have mentioned our key is to kick early and turn them around and make them second guess if they want to rush up in D.

I hate the dogs with a passion and nothing would make me happier than beating them with our depleted squad, and AOB eating a big fat one.

Don’t see how they do that when they haven’t even hit more than 15 points in a game yet but hey that’s your opinion, I just dont see them doing that, they might beat us but not going to do that

Warriors are a superior team, and they beat us by less than that. If you take past results into consideration Warriors beat Canberra by 34, Canberra scored 1 try. They beat us by 26, and we scored 2 tries. Bulldogs beat Canberra 14-10.

Bulldogs scored 14 against Canberra, Canberra let in 40 points compared to our 38, 14*38/40=13.3 points.
We scored twice as many tries as Canberra against Warriors so we should be 10*2=20.

We should win 20 to 13.

We didn't even have Sharpe last week, so we should do even better this week.

This sounds logical through data analysis, however rugby league has so many uncontrollable variables and is an impure science.
It would be nice though!

I agree with you.
It is the team spirit that makes that win happen. If you know what you are looking for you will find it, it sounds simple and it is all you need. The Knights have been looking for a heads up player for years and we have 3 now in Ponga, Brown and Sharpe. We are on a winning road with those three on the field, they know where the try line is and they know how to find it. Top four for sure.

Lets be real...if dogs are serious they put 30 on us(hopeful not 40+)
Yes they will if we defend like last week with players rushing out of the line and not keeping our defence structured and working together.
The other 2 games dogs have played both dragons and raiders did that and dogs only just snuck home against them

Our hope for victory is to defend really well, and then we will need to have players Iike Lucas, hunt, sharpe hitting angled runs at their forwards as will be hard to out jump them on edges with the backs

Knee's still strapped up

Sharpe still in at the 24 hour update.

De Courcey still outside the 19 for now so not clear who's making way. Holbrook said they want to rotate players to get game time in NSW Cup, so maybe Graham who didn't play last week. Think Manuleleua or Cant make the most sense balance-wise.

That is a hugh boost for the team! The whole team will lift with Sharpe in the side. It also sure’s up Sandon’s role at 7.

So happy, I hate for the dogs to pump us again. At least now we have some more firepower to throw at them.

I really hope they utilise an attacking kicking game to throw them the defence off.
