NRL Round 4- Bulldogs Vs Knights - 3:00pm Saturday, 28th March - Accor Stadium

Just wondering. Does Sharpe playing change anyone's tip to Newcastle winning? I always thought the dogs would win but a lot closer score line then people think. Does Sharpe get us a win? I am hopeful of a Newcastle win but still undecided on my tip.

It'd be nice if we weren't missing our two best players who vacate key positions within the spine around which the team is built.

I just reckon it's too big an ask. Particularly at their home ground. If we were full strength, yes.

I am hopeful of a good performance.if we defend well and keep trying things in attack, I think we can win

Sharpe is a big in but still backing the dogs. If we had Brown also I would tip us, not just for his attack but his defence.

Maybe Kayo is giving us the rub of the green this week after not getting it last week and the upset is confirmed for today
Surely we can’t beat ourselves for the second week in a row

I'm excited to see how our young spine goes today. We have three guys playing roles today that they have massive potential in. I'm certainly not expecting a polished performance from them, they are too young in their careers to act as top line playmakers. They may just have enough natural talent to worry one of the best defensive sides in the comp at times today. If not, they will learn a lot and will be better for it.

I’m not expecting much in this dogs game I am however realistic and don’t believe they will put 30 on us like some people here, and do still believe there is a chance we do win, the fact is the dogs are struggling for points and our attack is better, I mean the dogs haven’t even got over 15 points in a game this year yet.

No Brown and KP makes any game difficult especially with how great Brown was going, but when we get Sharpe back and his attacking threat, we lose Mooney who in my opinion has been our best prop, so what little go forward we had is gone now, Saulo NEEDS to have a massive game off the bench as well as the starters in Frizell and SAF, we can’t rely on Hopwood to dominate the field and all that in his second game, so he will need that support so he can come in freely.

I have no clue why we didn’t also grab Hola or Crouch for this game but Holbrook clearly has a plan so I’ll leave that.

Ps. Gagai needs a good game after his horrible last game in my opinion.

Think the dogs attacking coach will have them bombing Marz right from the start . Hope he catches the first couple for confidence or it's going to get ugly

Tigers putting away Warriors without a couple of their best must instil some hope in a team like Newcastle. Add Sharpe it’s gotta feel like a boost even.

I’m just hoping we regain a bit of composure after last week … don’t stop attacking, but play the percentages a bit more. Needs to be done without Ponga and Brown there to pull things out of the bag for us. If the Bulldogs struggle to score points again then it should be well within our abilities to keep it close, if not jag a win.

Mooney is a big loss. I hope Hopwood has a great game. He has been picked over Hola and Crouch, so the coach believes in him.

Tough game, mainly hoping that Sharpe gets through the game without injury.
Like a few on here it worries me that we are not playing Crouch or/and Hola, yes Hopwood is future but without Brown and Ponga we need the experience in the side, my changes, Gamble for Cant, Crouch for Hopwood and Hola for Saulo with Cant and Hopwood 18 & 19

Manuleleua is the one making way for De Courcey, he’s named at lock on reserve grade. Will be interested to see if he actually lines up in the middle or if he switches with ESL.
