NRL Round 26 - Knights Vs Warriors - 2:00pm Sunday, 30th of August - Go Media Stadium

That game was just heart breaking. We were looking so good than bam it’s over. Jsaf will get 4-5 weeks for that.

But proud we still made a game of it considering all the adversity. Knights this year are a massive what if. Injuries, now suspensions have cruelled us, but the resilience of this team there is no denying. Our style of play is so good if we can keep most of our team on the park we have a premiership winning side.

Jsaf is a massive loss. Hopefully Manu, Mooney, McEwen will be right to go in a couple of weeks time. Any of these 3 out makes the job harder, but we have shown what we can do. Bring on finals.
 
The Roosters can now rest everyone next week without their ladder position changing, which means the Rabbitohs probably stomp them. The Sharks look like they’re imploding so winning today may very well have seen us finish 5th and play a home final vs North Queensland. Losing means we will likely travel to Sydney to play Souths. So winning likely meant a gimme win at home, losing gives us a very tough assignment. You’re wrong Grug.

If your argument requires a player to lose his mind and do something that very very rarely happens to justify it, it’s not a good argument.
 
lol who were the journalists in the press conference? First question, what went wrong? Glad KP and the coach just laughed at that. They played basically the whole match with 12 players, that’s what went wrong lol

I think KP and Holbrook’s eyes almost rolled back a full circle in their head when one journo expected them to praise the Warriors for their performance with players out lol
They had a one man advantage the whole game and the Knights are missing as many players 🤣
 
It’s literally only Kiwi media over there so not really a surprise they aren’t that interested in the Knights. Don’t even have a Fox sideline reporter travelling over there anymore.

Turned it off midway through the blokes never ending question about how the Warriors are going but I’m sure Holbrook and Ponga gave a thoughtful response.

One of the questions about how well the Warriors are doing something or other, Holbrook replied today wasn't a good example of that, because they were only playing 12 men lol.

Not sure exactly what the new media deal entails but they should’ve made sure that both the broadcasters are obligated to send commentators and sideline reports to every game.

The coverage from both of them is pathetic, especially the fact that they’ll not even travel to some parts of Sydney and just commentate from the studio instead. You can tell the difference and it makes for a poorer product

TBF I find it very much the same with Knights fans. You see a guy with a Knights jersey at the shops and you’ve never met him and he’s a legend who wants to talk realistically and intelligently about their performance and chances. Online though they are as inbred and delusional as any other teams… no offence to the inbreds on this forum of course!

So, was there something wrong with Ponga?
Sick - or injured - something else?

Was he just not putting his body on the line because he wants to be fit for the finals?

at least 3 of their tries were from missed tackles by Ponga.
