NRL Round 22 - Knights Vs Broncos - 7:35pm Saturday, 1st of August - Suncorp Stadium

If that’s the case I wonder if they’d go sandon and gamble on the halves with sharpe at the back, or bring Votano in with sharpe and sandon as halves

I’m curious to see if Holbrook will consider playing Sandon on the left and Sharpe on the right in the halves. Sandon is a right foot kicker from memory so I guess right side will be better in that regards.
Im hoping this call is made based on defense. The biggest loss imo is browns defense verse what Sandon provides. With Lucas out also, that left edge is weaker in D also. Tough call, what side of the field is our best in defense now? Manu and bradman, or mckewen and gagai / hunt? It's pretty close I think, but I would be tempted to switch Sandon to the left, mainly due to most teams favoring their left (our right)? Sandon has a habit of rushing up hard, manu seems to have a similar instinct, could work out great or disastrous....

Starting side is a bit of guess work but Ponga starting, Gags playing question marks.
1 Ponga/Hunt/Votano, 2 Young, 3 Gags/Hunt, 4 Best, 5 Marzhew, 6 Sharpe, 7 Smith, 8 Mooney, 9 Crossland, 10 Jones/Hopwood, 11 Manu, 12 McEwen/ESL, 13 Croker, 14 Graham, 15 Frizell, 16 Hopwood/Jones, 17 Crouch/Cant/ESL, 18/19 Hunt, Votano, Cant, ESL
A lot of uncertainty but still a strong side based on recent efforts

I think we can beat the Raiders and i definitely think we can beat both the Titans and Manly, Manly aren’t the same anymore and whilst the Titans have gotten better I believe we can still win it.

I hope Ponga and McEwen are available. I’ll be more confident on a win if we have those two.

Obviously not ideal losing two of our best players, but when we get Jsaf back I still think we have a very competitive side. Was impressed with X-FACTOR Brodie Jones last weekend. I want the boys to start getting back to that second phase play.
