Jharal Yow Yeh
Bailey simonsson this year had the same injury and he's back next week after injuring his ankle in round 4
It didn't look anything like those ones, thankfully.Taniela tuaki had similar injury was never the same again
It can often be career ending. I've got no idea on the matter but from memory it has everything to do with how the complex system of soft tissue recovers.I'm worried this could be career ending....didn't a Broncos player suffer a similar injury a while back and had to retire
Just looked at Jharal Yoh Yeh's and it looked significantly worse...long story short, we don't know, let's hope for the best. The fact that the compound fracture seemed to occur so close to the ankle itself isn't a good sign.
Concerns it's an ACL for Brown.Super proud of the boys tonight. We held strong despite all the adversity and were unlucky to lose.
The injuries to both Lucus and Brown, I’m the most devastated about. Hopefully Brown can make it back for finals.
The silver lining was Manu was exceptional tonight. He will slot on the left now. Hopefully he forms a good combination with KP, Sharpe.
We will still make finals comfortably. I’m confident we beat the Titans, and Manly at home. Hopefully Cows defeat Broncos this round and that will deflate them for next week. I think we can beat Canberra away. If we get 5th or 6th which I’m confident we do we get a home semi.
Week two of the finals will be a massive achievement this year.
Yeah wasn’t a compound fracture. Thought they said dislocation and possible fractureIt didn't look anything like those ones, thankfully.
It's absolutely nothing like that one. I don't think there's been a suggestion it was a compound for Lucas?Just looked at Jharal Yoh Yeh's and it looked significantly worse...long story short, we don't know, let's hope for the best.
Maybe back for preseason.Yeah wasn’t a compound fracture. Thought they said dislocation and possible fracture
More in line with Ciraldo back in the day (but didn't look as bad as that, I don't think), or Karl Lawton had very similar too, I think.Yeah wasn’t a compound fracture. Thought they said dislocation and possible fracture
That's what I'm saying: it didn't look as bad as Jharal Yoh Yeh's, so suggestions of a career-ending injury seem well and truly premature. It's absolutely nothing like that one. I don't think there's been a suggestion it was a compound for Lucas?
If he's lucky enough to have a dislocation with no fracture, he might be back this year, depending on how it goes back in place.Yeah wasn’t a compound fracture. Thought they said dislocation and possible fracture
I’m sure there was a player who had that a while back, and he was back very quickly. It was literally just dislocated. But can’t remember who it was …If he's lucky enough to have a dislocation with no fracture, he might be back this year, depending on how it goes back in place.
Pretty unlikely though.
