NRL Round 21 - Knights Vs Roosters - 6:00pm Friday, 24th of July - McDonald Jones Stadium

Jesus we’re forlorn on here aren’t we.

Don’t get me wrong Ponga is a massive out but we’re still in this game up to our eyeballs. Their right edge is weak defensively and we gave them a bath with our reserve graders in Round 7.

Lucas, Sharpe and Braddy with Brown chiming in could give them a bath.

it's gonna be tough with 4 of our regular forwards out, when that was our weak point to begin with. Then on top of that we are without our best player. It would be the type of win that really propels us forward for the remainder of the season. Hoping the boys dig in and give it a red hot crack.

Hopefully Brodie Jones is better for the run last week and has a better game.

Hopefully Sandon can link up with Braddie and Lucus well. I like seeing Brown play both sides. Let’s see. And has someone mentioned before we should try and get more second phase play to bring Sharpe into the game more.

They will definitely be targeting Marz in the air against Marky Mark.

I’m cautiously optimistic we can get the job done.

Another game of whoever turns up with the right attitude, will win.
Roosters would be favourites, but just like us in recent weeks, still need to turn up and win the game - as we have seen, sometimes easier said than done.

Good thing we have strike power everywhere. Just need a couple of good games from our key players and we are in with a good shot.

Roosters can be a bit hit or miss. If they are on, we might be in for a tough game. If not, they are there for the taking.

Maybe a little snippet from Captain Obvious, but will be interesting to see how it pans out.

I think at full strength we can win easily and I was optimistic we would win tonight but without KP at fullback I’m not so sure.

Don’t get me wrong I’d still much prefer Sandon be in the side just for his goalkicking alone considering the crap Ponga has been serving on the T.

But Sharpe has been less than impressive at fullback and seems to struggle hard under the high ball when contested, with one marquee out I fully expect the other (Brown) to step up.

Hopefully KPs injury is that bad and is right for next week.

I want more offloads, I forgot who said it here that we have shut up shop on them but I fully agree I was thinking this two weeks ago actually, in rounds 1 and 2 every chance we got we offloaded but lately it seems like that’s not the plan anymore, we got to bring that back

I’m going a 26-20 Knights win

Looking like another 13-game season from KP, who is starting to look like the Knights' Latrell...absolutely worth every cent when he's on the field, but is he on the field enough?

I think the wet conditions we have been playing in the last few weeks might be why we have not been doing this.

Is it just me or does it seem like our offloads have dropped right off compared to earlier in the year when our attack was humming?

If we are to trouble the roosters we need a heap of offloads to create second phase play which is what Sharpe loves.
6 agains dried up so games slowed down so most teams would have less offloads...

But the mandatory mid year rule change has dried up the tries for most teams
