NRL Round 21 - Knights Vs Roosters - 6:00pm Friday, 24th of July - McDonald Jones Stadium

I think the fact of it is, Brown is still learning how to be that dominant voice, it’s a pretty big change and it’s not going to happen overnight - it’ll take a few seasons.

That said he did win us a game a few weeks ago vs the Dolphins.

I also saw this just now which is interesting … not many questioning Sam Walker’s form, but these are very similar stats. Brown with a lot less line drop-outs (doesn’t help that we have barely made it into the opposition 20 for most of the season), but way more kicking metres.

In the rep games last year, he ran the ball at every opportunity. He loves a 4th tackle run but with his added kicking responsibilities he can't do that as much. He is still learning and developing at 7 and I'm sure he will strike a better balance the more experience he gets. I like where his game is heading and being a gun defender is just gold after what Knights fans have been through in recent seasons.

Them playing for Scott Dureau actually makes me more nervous. They have a terrible history of “getting up” for a cause. Usually it has the opposite effect and leads them to being really flat. Hope I’m wrong, would love to be pleasantly surprised
I know Dureau was around the club as a coach, but I don't think he'd have a huge link to any of our current players ... so I'm hoping it doesn't become something like we've seen in the past where everyone gets overwhelmed. I honestly don't think it'll be much of a factor either way.
