My bold prediction next year top 5 finish, year after grandfinal glory

I saw an interview with Broncos prop Shane Webcke where an interviewer asked him if the Broncos would win the title, and he said "a lot of things have to go right to win a title".
I think that's the smartest thing i've seen a footballer say.

Last year we had a lot of things go wrong. Key players like Gidley etc out - you all know the story.

If a lot of things go right next year we will give this thing a bloody good shake. We have our best squad in a decade.

Well to me outside looking in it looked like he tried to get you guys to play the same style as the Dragons but it just didn't work because the Knights have more flair and natural attacking abilities then that Dragons squad Wayne had inherited.

Same style as dragons or the basic fundamental of rugby league, complete your set and get a good kick away, then attack will come, we couldn't hold the ball so who cares what dragons did

So true mate, storm lost slater last year for a period and lost 5 - 6 games in a row, he returns and they get back on track and win premiership, gidley was a massive loss for us.

Hence why there were alot of errors and lack of confidence as they were tentative in whether they should try somthing as simple as an offload or throwing that extra pass. Thats the way I saw it.

There may have been a bit of both aspects to it. No doubt we were playing pretty terribly until the Wests game ... dropping so much ball that it was impossible to impose whatever structure Bennett wanted.

I am sure that was a huge reason why were playing so poorly, but you're right, I also heard Bennett say he made a lot of changes during the bye week before the Wests game. He sent the players on a week off, and he said that when they returned he focused more on enjoying themselves, because the players were so tense trying to impress him. He didn't mention in that interview that he adjusted the playing style, but it wouldn't surprise me.

So I think Josh and Cowboyman, you are probably both right. (Really, I'm just trying to diffuse another big argument :P ).

Really if someone don't agree with me i'm not going to argue the point I made my post and thats that lol. Won't get me changing my view as i'm sure I won't change any1 else's view.

I agree completely.
