Keep on the block Brother. I don’t block because I find her hilarious. Anyone who knows anything about the branches of psychology would get to the bottom of her insecurities in minutes. It’s funny and sad at the same time. But there’s no need to call people names like she does. That’s just plain petulance shining through. Find a way to laugh at her because then it actually makes the forum a funnier place to hang out from time to time. It’s not so funny when we see the our beloved Newy fans let a rival wind up in their heads. Big game today Brother! Let’s hope for the win!!
 
We,ve got a big set of forwards taking us forward and next year Frizzel too and a big talented backline that from reports will be bigger and better with this kid Young in it . The best thing is though that these players want to come here and that our own younger guys look to be stepping up as well . We are looking good for the future .
Like all of you i want us to do well this season but we have a lot of reasons not to.
10 weeks off with covid lockdown, massive injury toll, Travel , a new coach and coaching team , even players not being able to play and then called in for cover .
Imo through all that they are still the best team we have had for a long time and except for 2 games that they new they were going to win and went in with that attitude and lost , they have given everything they have for 80 min every week and that makes me excited ....
 
Well said Ethan. The most recent team to compare us to at the moment is the 2013 team which made the prelim final. That team finished 7th, had a good win over the dogs finals week 1, a great upset victory in Melbourne week 2 and got found out by the eventual premiers in the prelim. This team hasn't made the finals yet but we shouldn't be finishing lower than 6th. If we perform well and compete hard over at least two finals matches, for mine we are way ahead of 2013. That side needed a big body and thought Russell Packer was the answer. Whatever we do this year, we have Tyson Frizzell on the way next year and Brailey will be like a brand new signing as well. We have a youthful squad unlike 2013 and guys like the Safs staying for less. 2014 was the horror year of all years, but, barring injuries, none of that adversity is on the horizon for next year. I really think we stand on the edge of a 95-2002 golden period, without the financial instability to white ant it.

Even if Young doesnt work out , we still have a very talented backline.
Even without Frizzel our forwards are going forward against anyone and will be better for it next season with him .
Even without Brailey , McCullough , Watson we are still getting good service from the 9 whoever it is .
Even King had his best game ever imo .
What i like is that if right now kapow everyone is fit it would be hard to leave a lot of players out .
I would give my left one for a golden period ..
 
All that due to the coach , he is doing a bloody good job especially under the circumstances.
 
Does Pearce expire at the end of next season? Wonder what the plan is there? On current form he doesn’t get resigned for long or on similar coin to current contract. Who is the heir? Who is on the market for 22?

so many questions!!
