Laurie Daley announced as new NSW Origin coach

It depends if Sticky is having a assistant coaching role.

All of the candidates really don't have enough passion for my liking, and the only people I know who really had both the brains and rage to coach the Blues were Sticky and Gould.
 
I thought Fittler was the only decent option left. Daley just doesn't have the coaching experience.
 
Daley is a big Mullen fan! I'd say he'll be a bigger chance of making the team next year with Daley as a coach/selector ;-)

I say give him a chance! Who else who is a non NRL coach would seriously be so much better?

Filter failed miserably atthe Roosters James so I don't think he'd be any better.

Even Stuart was sacked by the Sharkies and most didn't want him as coach a few years ago!

I don't think theres a top credentialled coach who doesn't coach an NRL team available tbh

Fittler did make the top four in his first full year at the Roosters.

Not saying he's a great option, just that I reckon he's got more to offer than Daley.

exactly stuart wasnt great at the sharks but look how good he was for nsw maybe freddy would have been the same
anyone other then daley
 
I think Daley was a good option he has been involved heavily with the NSW team over the past few years and has proven himself as the country origin coach and as the all stars coach.....just give him a chance we all need to get behind him and support him if we want to have any chance at beating those damn banana benders up north.
 
I can see Daley trying to copy sticky in terms of trying to get on mals nerves an creating the same hype that stick has done but daley will fail miserably
