I thought the same.
He also mentioned a young player they’d just signed who didn’t have an agent, so his mum handled negotiations on his behalf. He noted that she was already very familiar with the process because the player’s older brother is an NRL player with an agent. It sounded like he was referring to the McEwens.
It was a great interview and gave some genuine insight into how things are being run. You can see why he chooses to work with certain people, especially those he mentioned by name and has built long-standing relationships with over the years.
Hopefully they can lock POS up for the long term. I also loved hearing him talk about the cultural shift and the change in attitudes from 2025 to 2026. It’s been a long drought for us, but things finally seem to be heading in the right direction. Things are definitely looking up for us .
