Shaun has taken a hiatus from the pod, because I'm pretty certain he's that pissed off with the club and players at the moment. Can't blame him. He's bought tickets to every Knights game, even NZ, etc. Shaun, if you and Link are on this forum, I'm feeling your hurt, and I love your passion for the club. True Knights supporter. Have faith, we will eventually come good. We will build the side around a solid bunch of Newy young guns, Lucus, Sharpe, Phoenix, and more. Look forward to seeing you on your pod again soon.

It's a good podcast. Shaun and Lync do a good job. I think Cogger has probably got to Shaun!
 
Yeah it'd be good if they started it up again, entertaining guys. Their episodes with Ben Darwin are very interesting, I don't agree with everything Ben says (eg he borderline doesn't accept that big disparities in player talent have a huge bearing on results, which I fundamentally disagree with), but I do think he makes a lot of good points. Hard to watch Penrith keep winning premierships and conclude that cohesion & system/institutional knowledge aren't big factors in building successful teams, anyway.

Side note, KDog asked Ben what he thought of the Dylan Brown signing. Ben's take: "Terrible signing, the Knights haven't learned a thing."
 
Looks like The Knighted boys have packed it in fully. All the shows have been pulled from Spotify/Apple Podcasts and the website isn’t live anymore.

Anyone know what happened?

I thought so but everyone on here got their back up about what Robbie o said about KP which I thought was 100% right and his opinion does matter. The guy was a great traditional fullback and I respect his opinion. Maybe KP needs to take his advice on board. Mr ego would snicker and giggle whilst sipping on his strawberry milkshake.

I didn’t read the Herald article but it was from this interview. If you didn’t watch the interview then some things may have been out of context. He went on to say how talented Ponga is.

Yeah, I listened last night and didn’t see what the fuss was all about. He was complementary of Ponga but did call out his role in confusing the halves. It was nothing we haven’t been saying on here for months.
 
Made the mistake of listening to the Bloke podcast today.

Was pretty infuriating like usual. They talked about AOB making the win on Thursday about him instead of the side (fair) but then spent the whole segment *****ing about AOB and the club. Said basically nothing positive but then were lenient on the sides that got completely flogged.

Haha I made the same mistake.

My favourite part is them insinuating that everyone in Newcastle is blue collar and broke. Also only mentioning the missing middles we have so they can say how bad we’re gonna lose this week.

my favourite was when they talked us down for beating a reserve grade forward pack bunnies side, but the week later talked up a world beating bunnies side with the same forward pack when they beat the roosters.

Yep. “Guru” is the worst of them. I don’t like AOB but his constant obsessive rants about him are so strange for someone that’s not even a Knights fan. He even makes **** up to push his vendetta like how he said the Knights lost KPP because he wanted to be coached by Benji instead of AOB. No ****head, the Knights didn’t even give him a formal offer because they couldn’t/wouldn’t compete with the Tigers. He probably would have stayed here if we could have competed $$$ wise with Tigers. I want AOB sacked as much as the next Knights fan but also can’t stomach people using their platform to just make **** up.

Is he a Manly fan? It would make a lot of sense.
