Knights always seem to get snubbed at these awards… nothing new there.
Warriors finished 6th last year and jumped 4 spots. We finished with the spoon and are in a GF… go figure.
As a club, I wouldn’t have even bothered turning up.

It’s the Dally M, it’s who the media want.
Honestly the amount of times these awards have gone to fully undeserving players, it’s not to be taken to seriously

It’s something the club should think about moving forward…. boycott the event from now on

It's voted by the coaches, but it's a regular season award. What Holbrook did during the regular season was impressive but the outrage is heavily influenced by the finals.
Anyway, Holbrook has three finals wins in the past three weeks, Webster has one in four years. I like that more than an award.

Bit of an over the top reaction.

They honestly change the criteria every year…
I think back to the NRLW girls and how Ronnie missed out that first year and the reason was ‘Roosters finished first so Strange got it’. Fast forward a year later, Knights finish top and still misses out - Karyn Murphy gets it .
It’s a dead set farce

I’ll take some more fuel for the premiership fire please.
“How many of you blokes got recognised for your achievements this year? Here’s your chance, here’s our chance to take our reward.” - Holbrook, probably.

For wanting the club to get some much deserved recognition on the year they’ve had? My bad…
Anyways I’ve had my rants now. Logging off

Right… so why get worked up over it?
As I said elsewhere, Ivan Cleary’s never won it. Four premierships in a row, kept his team “up” longer than anyone else, yet in none of those seasons was he ever the best coach, apparently.
It’s all just vibes based.

Turns out he apparently has, but *before* the fourpeat.
Losing to Todd Payten in 2022 has aged very poorly.
