Greg Marzhew discussion

I’d like to see if Marzhew could be turned into an effective 17. Come off the bench in the middle, make 10 - 12 really strong hit ups, give our middles a break whilst being cover should an outside back get injured.

It’d be great but I don’t think his got defensive aptitude at all. He made 32 tackles for the season. More than few of those were from his opposition winger catching the ball and surrendering onto the ground. Maybe it’s something that could be taught to him but honestly at this stage of his career it’s probably too late.

I highly doubt Marzhew will be in first grade next season unless we have injuries

Our team would be better balanced with Crossland at hooker, Sandon Smith at 7 and Sharpe on the wing

It’s amazing how much better a player can be if their coach believes in him.

At the end of last year I thought he wouldn’t see first grade this year and we couldn’t get rid of him quick enough…… how wrong was I on that

I hope he keeps it up and he re-signs with us
