Finals Week 1 vs Rabbitohs - 7:50pm Friday 11th of September - Allianz Stadium

Ha what are you guys smoking. We have no go-forward.

We're at like half a dozen almost insurmountable tactical disadvantages because of our injuries. Then take a look at their team sheet, with Duncan back, they should do this comfortably. And that's fine. We're missing like 4 of our 7 best players.

If we played this fixture 10 times, maybe we win 1. We need injuries, multiple sin bins and everything in between to get close.
We are going to win.
We will beat the Bunnies.
We will beat the Dolphins.
We will beat the Panthers.
I am holding my decision back on if we beat the Warriors until I find out who we need to rest.

The team I supported in the 1997 grand final had lost the last 13 games they had played against their opponent that day, but they famously won the game. It was a similar situation in 2001.

We can win on Friday, we have to hope that we have our nose in front at full time.

Even with our injuries, I can see us upsetting the Rabbitohs.

Keon and Tatola we will have a field day against our middle, hard to win when we will make 30 metres a set v their 50 metres a set.

It's academic unfortunately.

Also relying on Psaulo and Crouch is just depressing as our bench props. I feel for Hopwood punching above his weight but ideally his coming off the bench instead of starting here - we potentially could start with Psaulo and Hopwood, forgot Mooney is gone.

Yep we are cooked lol.

Wouldn’t have been too many games this year we won the middle 1/3 of the field. We just shift in our own end and open up their edges. No reason we can’t keep doing it. We were doing it against the warriors with 12 on 13 and made 11 line breaks

And Tiges beat Panthers earlier this year, it happens.
I'm not sure this analogy helps you here. The argument isn't that bad sides can occasionally beat good sides in the NRL; of course, that can happen. It's that the Knights in 2025 had a side capable of more than 6 wins and losing TWICE to the rabble that were the Titans who should have won the spoon.

IDK why you think AOB needs defending; his team selections and his rigid adherence to his formulaic game plans towards the end made it clear he'd given up.

Dolphins at Suncorp would be great game
Would rather Panthers at Commbank to make the GF over Warriors in NZ

And that’s IF wahs beat Dolphins this weekend which is far by guaranteed, would not be shocked if dolphins win

LOL I was more commenting with your obsession of laying the boot into someone that has been gone for 12 months, bit cringey tbh and completely irrelevant to this thread?

Oh, give it a rest; "obssession","cringey"- talk about making it up as you go along. It was a throwaway comment in the context of a conversation. I've actually defended AOB against unfair criticism in the past if you go back and actually have a look. IDK that anyone can defend what happened last season.
