Ex-Knights Watch

Just means the Eels aren’t confident in what they saw from the other options they trialled in place of Brown. Maybe there’s a young player they think will be ready a year from now. Better hope they’re winning games next season though, I’m sure the fans won’t be the fondest of Pezet from the jump.

Will the people who oddly chose to sexualise the situation to cope with their feelings of rejection now admit that the Knights were the extremely obvious losers in that situation? He’s a starting half in 2026 and signed on for an infinitely better situation long term beyond that. Everything he was apparently “scared” of doing. Turns out he just had no interest in coming here.

I mean, I’d hardly say his four year 2026-2029 Storm contract has turned out to be a raging success …

It’s pretty standard online banter these days, you might just be a boomer.

He’s low tier mid, Dylan Brown is comfortably a better signing if you’re looking for smokeshows
The way dylan brown has been made out to be **** is quiet funny to me. Twice the player pezet is currently and only 2-3 years older, grand finalst (largely on the back of his play) and an international. Will go down as 2nd to only joey as best halves this clubs had (this prob belongs in the mark my words thread)

I’m pretty sure I was one of the earliest and most strident on the “yes we should try to sign Dylan Brown” front so you don’t need to talk me into it lol.

He cracked regular first grade as a starting half at 19 and became genuinely good quite quickly, the negative rep he has now is (besides his off-field incident) because he was projected to be in the “best player in the game” convo, and he’s not there.

Doesn’t mean the door is totally shut on him getting there though.

So I’ve heard Luke Metcalf is going to market and potential offers of a 4 year million dollar deal from the Dragons. He’s currently on 550k at the warriors. He’s 27 two ACL’s, one broken leg. Played a total of 47 FG games. I know who I rather have between DB and metcalf. One of the best things about DB is he very rarely gets injured.

I thought he’d be captaining Australia by now after the carry on from some of our fans when we traded him.
He didn't do much at all for Newtown or for Sharks U20's but he is still young and could be a good get on a train and trial.
Glad we didn't pay him top 30 the last 2 years like the sharks.

I heard he is on train and trial with us
Bradbury was the best 16 year old forward I've seen.
He got man of the match and player of the year over Pezet in the year we won Mathews - and Pezet was so good he has been seen as the next big thing ever since.
Bradbury got injured playing local footy after that, and injury after injury since has ruined him.
I hope he can get back to the player he once looked like he'd be.

Max Bradbury has signed a one year deal with Tweed Seagulls in Q Cup, even though we only had Lachie Miller for that one season I still think we got the better end of that trade deal. Miller had some good performances that year and was a big help with depth in our great run that year. Sadly for Bradbury I think we dodged a bullet, wish him well though...
