Ex-Knights Watch

Simi Sasangi playing back row for the Raiders. Actually looks quite decent. Handy skills.

He must’ve had a proper run now in various grades in every position bar Prop……! Will probs settle on a position when he’s 29-30. And will then retire at prop.

Article about 33 year old Ethan Cook getting to play for Central in their first GF appearance for 75 years.
Not many will remember Ethan.
He was our best junior for 3 or 4 years and made all the rep sides.
He was poached by Penrith just when he seemed ready to make his debut, but suffered injury after injury and never made the top grade at Penrith.
Good on him for getting to play a GF for his junior club.
Central have a chance at Stopping a Maitland threepeat with Brock Lamb out injured.

Even without Lamb it’s a tall order. Maitland thoroughly outplayed them a few weeks back. Would love to see Central get up though.

When & where is this game and can you stream it?

Nick Meaney kicking on after all those years is still an impressive feat considering where he was. Thought he may have been a stop gap solution until someone better from within came at the Storm but he held his own. Not always the best in defence but kicks goals and has made himself a valued cog in that team.
King always seemed to be the type that would come good but needing a change went hand in hand with that. One of Bellamys best traits with forwards. He goes to the Tigers or Titans or something and he's definitely not the same guy.

Article about Cooper Jenkins being starting prop for Norths Devils on GF day.
Says he has finally had an injury free year and was able to show what he can do.
Says he hopes he might get an offer for some NRL system next year.
I thought he was our best forward in the early rounds of Flegg in 2022 before he got injured. We might have won that GF if he'd have stayed fit.

No rugby league has made me a dull boy so ive tried to formulate a team of former knights/pathways players that are still in the NRL. I’ve probably missed a lot of juniors so make your suggestions for changes. Bench is very small but there’s a lot of experienced middles in the pack that could move into those spots.

IMO they’d beat the tigers

Sam McIntyre has had a great year and made the PM's 13
Beau Fermour also in the PM's 13
Jock Madden is more a local (Scone and Knights junior) than Clifford
Jirah has been "retired" I think
