I have been really surprised that Manu has learnt to pass the ball recently. I don’t know how many Rorter’s tries have been lost this season due to Manu’s egotism.
I gave up on Tedesco passing the ball since May, and haven’t been disappointed since.
Hi Billy your observation and stats quote here left me wondering. So I delved into the records to compare Armstrong and Sharpe. Let me say here, I think they are both good players and stats can be used to stretch the truth to favour an argument. Having said that and weighing all of the stats and film footage I've seen, "if i were the coach ( and I've done plenty of coaching ) I would have found Armstrong the better option". True Sharpe scored 4 trys in a game on the wing ( one of them absolutely spectacular), against the worst team in the comp. His 6 trys in 8 games of nrl, 2 from FB 4 from wing. That is the wingers second job. First job tackle oppo. Armstrong's 5 trys in 5 games, all came from FB a much tougher assignment. In fact, Armstrong scored a hat trick from FB in nrl. Hell he scored 3 on Saturday from FB.
Just my 2 cents worth. I fear I may not garner much support here, but opinions are like ar.... e........ h.. o..!

Where they will be next year was not the point. It was and still is about a coach making a decision on who was the best option.
On your reply, the ?coach" chose and encouraged one and the other quite understandardly said "maybe I should look elsewhere".
As I said I reckon they both have bright futures. I feel the "coach" could've handled it better.

Armstrong played 4 or 5 games on the wing and FB in Cup after the loss to the Bulldogs on 31 May. He, for whatever reason was blamed for the loss. Pity about the 4 games he won and the 16 DallyM pts he fought for and won. Maybe you should do yourself a favour and check the playing career stats, rather than just give your lack of facts opinion.

Ok, the week Sharpe made his debut Armstrong didn’t play in any grade and there was chat he was injured, so he had to be replaced. The week Sharpe plays on the wing for the first time against Penrith, Armstrong isn’t playing in any grade. Armstrong didn’t play a game between June 29th and August 11th, so he wasn’t available for the Penrith game. I said Armstrong probably nabs a wing spot if he was fit a few weeks ago.

Your backing armstrong more than he backed himself, he had a deal with us and chose to leave the nrl to play with a midpack esl club.
I share the opinion of the club, sharpe has always been the better prospect, with a higher ceiling, Had it not been for sharpes injury earlier in the year armstrong would never of debuted.

Now it’s ok to be a fan of Armstrong but it had been reported clearly that Sharpe was ahead of Armstrong in the pecking order for back up fullback hence his promotion to top 30 and extension at start of year
Did Armstrong deserve to get another shot in first grade on wing by now, most probably but Sharpe hasn’t missed a beat in any game he played at fullback or wing so hard to leave him out once the decision was made by Dave to go to England
That unfortunately how most teams would play it when both players have potential but neither are superstars.
