Ex-Knights Watch

This article doesn't really say where the opening game fits into the event, but it sounds like an old celebrity players match before the actual competition.
Anyway, the former Knights side featuring Kurt Gidley, Chris Houston, Robbie Rochow and Chris Adams beat some old Union players in the opening game of the beach 5s, which seems to be some sort of cross code rugby played on very small fields on the beach.

I tell my friends ( non-Australians) that the Police can stop you driving, and extract bodily fluids from you to check for drugs and they are in disbelief - only an Australian would think that's totally ok. - it's madness. A nation fixated on traffic violations, speed limits , seat belts, because the Government sees it as a major revenue raising scheme.
My brother went through the windscreen because he didn't have his seatbelt on 138 stitches a broken nose and a fractured jaw later he still has the scars to remind him of it.
He now has no problem with seatbelt laws so tell me again how it's about revenue and not safety. I had both legs broken by a truck driver that had alcohol and pot in his system I spent 8 months in hospital with 8 operations and 3 months in rehab learning how to walk again now I'm an old man that is in pain all day every day because of it, again tell me how these things are about revenue and not safety ...
I've had mates die from driving drunk and others die or severely injured because they thought they had the skills to drive extremely fast, but it's about revenue. Just down the road from where i live only a few months ago a 60-year-old couple killed by a young driver (a coppers son) on speed and pot but it's about revenue not safety.
Of course, the government love the revenue because they have to pay for the hospital doctor and surgery bills somehow. It's the same with smoking the taxes on ciggies are so high because someone has to pay for your chemo and hospital stay later when the ciggies are killing you.
Go ask a parent that's lost a child or close family member because of any of these reasons and see what they think of these things you call madness.
Something else too unless your a pro driver I'm damn sure I don't want you on the road driving at any speed you like trying to make yourself or even worse me or mine another statistic . by the way never heard or been had for leaving my window down dont know where that came from .

I see Noah Ryan is trialing with Wests Tigers.
His off the cuff style will suit Benji.

Edit - It's a different Noah Ryan at wests - our Noah Ryan is still at Canberra I think.

It’s my fault for putting my post on Tom Starling in this thread, on reflection I should have posted it in the What grinds my gears thread.
Nah not at all, any thread can take a weird turn at any time, it's not anyones fault ... or that big of a drama! :)

I see the Dolphins are doing a trial against a Qld cup side without any of their big names playing.
They have named Donoghue, Keeley, Cooper Jenkins and Jaron Purcell, who were all in our Flegg side in 2022.

Can only read this and be reminded of my favorite Hunter S Thompson passage

"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"

Mine has been one hell of an awesome ride, sounds like yours has been a laborious chore.

My brother went through the windscreen because he didn't have his seatbelt on 138 stitches a broken nose and a fractured jaw later he still has the scars to remind him of it.
A fine example Darwinism. I'm also for removing warning labels from everything lest they procreate.

You’re a massive ******

If you thought you were a decent fella with some semblance of intellect I might have been offended.
This sort of thing seems to follow you around, and it’s no surprise why looking at your posts. Can you please knock it on the head, I’ve asked several times to get back on topic in this thread. What you posted in reply to Ethan was pathetic.
