Peter Malcolm
He’s always been super fit, has played touch at the highest level you can’t do that without a decent motor. He was coming back from a serious knee injury last year so started the season late. His defence is ok, he made 28 tackles without a miss in the Dolphins trial.Donoughoe must have taken to firstgrade training like a duck to water.
They seem to have him down as a hooker. I'm sure he has the passing game and vision to pull that off, but he was a bit of a liability in defence at Flegg level, and that wasn't defending in the middle.
He must have improved his strength a lot if they think he can pull off defending in the middle, even for short minutes.
Good luck to him though. He has obviously worked his arse off since this time last year.
His passing game is as good as Ponga’s, like I said he’s superbly fit, can read the game, has a bit of pace & tough. Not sure what else the Knights wanted from him.
