Ex-Knights Watch

The reason coaches hate Herman is that he just stops when he reaches his limit.
Other guys slow down - look tired - put their hand up - and it's obvious they need to be replaced.
The first sign that Herman is out of gas is that he stops dead in the middle of going for a tackle - coaches hate that.

Wherever Herman has signed he has been on the outer - Broncs, here and Titans.

I don't think he is motivated to be a professional player anymore.
I'd say he's managed to get about $3m out of playing league and good luck to him, but he'll be back to playing park footy and getting $100 for a win after he's done at the titans.

Jock Madden get's his first starting game for the Tigers.
He had 7 minutes against us earlier this year, but this is his first chance to play 5/8.
It's a shame that Doeuhi is injured and he'll partner Brooks. Him and Brooks will play the same role and Brooks will get first call, so Jock won't get many chances. If Jock were with Douehi, they'd make a better partnership, due to them having different skillsets.

It is a great move .. provided he does not come back anywhere near here the fat toad.

Billy where is Max King now after he left and went to the Titans and then the Storm? Is he off contract as he has not played NRL since last season?

Achilles injury I read. Pretty sure he’s off contract with Storm this year.

Max King and Cooper Johns are both still unsigned for Melbourne.

3 of the 8 players nominated for buy of the year in ESL are ex-Knights

Mason Lino (Wakefield Trinity)

Wakefield needed a half-back for the 2021 season and in Lino they found a man they can rely on.

The Samoa international clearly enjoyed himself in his debut Super League season, scoring five tries, laying on nine more and taking control of Wakefield’s kicking game, which became one of the club’s strong points as the season wore on.

In his final game of the season, Lino broke a Super League and NRL record by slotting his 36 th consecutive successful conversion.

Sione Mata’utia (St Helens)

The forward was one of the more high profile players to arrive in the Super League ahead of the campaign and he didn’t disappoint.

His consistency and energy in the Saints pack proved hugely important and although he missed Saints’ Challenge Cup win over Castleford at Wembley, he’s played a big role this season.

Luke Yates (Huddersfield Giants)

Ian Watson was quick to make a move for Luke Yates after making the switch from Salford Red Devils to the John Smith’s Stadium and it’s easy to see why.

Yates is one of the fittest middles in the competition, the fact he sits fourth in the competition’s tackle charts tells us that, having completed 737 throughout the year. However, with 243 carries to his name, few players have seen the ball more than he has, too.

He wasted no time in becoming a fan favourite in West Yorkshire and he’ll be keen to build on an impressive debut season with the Giants.
