Yeah I was thinking of going 2 a game just to cheak out the atmosphere, because I Have heard it is really good

Yeh I have heard the same and I want to go to either feel it or have a come back when people say I should give soccer a chance lol

I have been to one Phoenix match, and I have to say the atmosphere there beat the atmosphere for anything else I've seen at the stadium recently (in the last few years). And that was with a fairly small crowd. Must be the soccer hooligans.

Juninho actually plays for Sydney as there is no Gold Coast team :)

Ah, sorry, got it mixed up with Central Coast. We only get 30 minutes of highlights of A-League per week.

The atmosphere at a match is really good. There's nothing quite like being one of 40,000+ people all singing and chanting for the same side. Mrs PK's a Newcastle United fan and I'm hoping to keep my promise of taking her to a home game this season.

Is there much singing at Knights or Jets matches? I've seen the Knights song but I couldn't imagine singing it to lift the side.

I have not heard any singing at the Knights matches.
I went to a Major league baseball game last year and the atmosphere was GREAT! there was 43,000 people there and they play song clips and stuff the whole crowd sings and or claps to and it is really a great night even though i don't love baseball I loved going to the game!!

Singing doesn't really go around in the NRL, more just team chanting. NEW-CAS-TLE! :D

You'll have probably heard the England cricket fans chanting "Michael Vaughan's Barmy Army". Well, how about "Brian Smith's Blue and Red Army"?

OK BITB if you start first, I will follow ;)

They do that singing at the soccer all the time that ole ole ole thing.

Sometimes that annoys me its like anytime we get within 30m the crowd starts chanting and it can get really frustrating like last year V cowboys the crowd was getting really desperate and just started it every second time we touched the ball lol

Singing/chanting usually works best when your side's up against it or when they've scored and the other side's looking sick.

I like to chant the New Cas Tle when I'm really pumped but not every time we touch it. :P
