BLACK Caviar, one of the most popular and successful horses in Australian racing history, has been retired after an unbeaten 25-race career.

The champion mare is undefeated in 25 races - a record unequalled in more than 100 years.
Winner of almost $8 million in prizemoney, she is considered to be the best sprinter in the world.
The Peter Moody-trained six-year-old has been ridden by Luke Nolen in all except three starts.
Before today's announcement, Moody had said there were three - perhaps four - options for Black Caviar, who won the T.J. Smith Stakes on Saturday in Sydney.

Not having a go at anyone here but Maybe a little more respect for a National Icon...If you don't care then maybe it's better to just not comment...Just an idea

This is the topic ... if people want to comment on it saying they don't care then that's fine! It's hardly showing disrespect.

I didn't even know what it was until Sunday, every league commentator wouldn't shut up about it ... I thought it was some exciting new cuisine that was sweeping the nation! But no ... just some boring horse. :P

No definitely not meant to be negative, I was actually curious if anyone else cared as little as I do about this.

I don't think it's intended as negativity. :)

All good like I said I wasn't trying to have a go at anyone just trying to make a suggestion....Sorry if It came across wrong :)
