Cook was extremely talented however he pissed off the club when he signed with Penrith. I think he played one or two games there. If he had have stayed I think he would’ve played more first gradeEthan Cook and Jake Finn never even getting a debut was a strange turn of events. I think Fridge won player of the year in the real NRL two years straight. And while I didn’t personally see much of Cooky play, he certainly had big wraps coming through
He is a nut case…He signed with the club but didn’t get registered but I wish we got to see arana taumata would’ve been in 2008. Currently sitting in Kempsey jail such a waste of talent
So much talent thoughHe is a nut case…
Very true, but also I don't think he was treated well. Warren Ryan definitely wasn't the right coach for him. I wonder how he would have turned out if Mal Reilly had stayed at the club? I feel like Reilly would have pushed him really hard, but also been a father figure when needed. One that hasn’t been mentioned (apologies if it has)…Owen Craigie
Buderus and Johns both said he was one of the most talented players if not talent wise the best they played with and Buderus made an example out of his talent not being enough in his books. Burst onto the scene as a teenager and hit the highs of winning a comp and was never the same since. Didn’t take his career seriously and struggled maintaining fitness and form later on fizzling out early.
Not in terms of completely not performing but I think underachieving as a disappointment…Really should have been a guy that ended up in our all time best team in that backline off the back of his talent.
This is the first game of rugby league I can actually remember watching. I was 11. Scotty Dureau field goal still burned in my memory like it was yesterday.
Loved Richie at the Knights. Yes he made errors here and there but you couldn't doubt his commitment, a real wholehearted customer. Also noticed two current head coaches in Ciraldo and Robinson on the bench. This moment always summed up Richie Fa'aoso to me, made the error to blow a try with the line wide open, but came back a few moments later with a run that nobody would ever have been able to stop to tie the match up.
At least you could never accuse Richie of not having a crack. 100% every gameLoved Richie at the Knights. Yes he made errors here and there but you couldn't doubt his commitment, a real wholehearted customer. Also noticed two current head coaches in Ciraldo and Robinson on the bench.
