Well done, there's not a single name there I want to try and defend in any way lol.

Joey leilua really could’ve been anything at the knights
He was another one (like many) that didn't respect or have the time of day for Stone once Bennett left.

But it seems like a pattern in his career, talk up the new team, talk down the old team...say theres a great culture and how everyones close at the new club...go on the KFC diet in the offseason and get shocked and upset when hes called underdone.
But considering the Roosters initially were the ones who let him go we cant be too surprised at the downward career trajectory. Just glad we got a couple of good years out of him, Similar to the Raiders.

Man, I totally forgot about Neville Costigan... What a massive disappointment he was! I remember being so excited when we signed him from the premiership winning Dragons...

I'd argue that Shibasaki isn't a disappointment on the basis that there wasn't really any level of expectation on him when he arrived.

I’m only basing my disappointment on the fact that he single handedly cost us the game against the Tigers at home in 21’.

Still not over that one.

I reckon his still a huge disappointment was highly rated in 20’s and has never lived up to the hype

Shiba would look okay for a game or two and then just lose confidence and drop every ball that went his way.
It was all between his ears, and you never knew if he was going to go alright or play the worst game ever.

Guys like Denniss, Karawana and Minto just weren’t First Grade standard players. Wouldn’t necessarily call them disappointments.
Karawana was an interesting one he was really average for most of his career however his last few games he showed so much promise. Than he got released

Man, I totally forgot about Neville Costigan... What a massive disappointment he was! I remember being so excited when we signed him from the premiership winning Dragons...

He had an extremely unlucky injury (broken arm) a game or two into the season and didn't really felt like he was the same since. Contract looked like a steal considering his 2010-11 Dragons form, which turned out to be okay overall. Kind of felt he should have been what Tyson has been for us so far.

Has Tautau Moga got a mention?
We paid that guy good money for 3 years and got 14 games between injuries - about 3 of them were good.
Not really his fault, we bought him with chronic knee injuries and he tried to get himself right.
Could have been anything if his knees let him.

On the flip side I never figured out why Herman Ese’Ese basically became invisible when he was at the Titans, and then looked okay at the Dolphins under Bennett again.

Maybe just another case of big money recruits flopping at the titans.

Probably up there for worst buys of the year depending on if you think Fifita wasn’t worth 1.2m but at least he was on the field.

For a guy who was on 500k you’d want him to be one of your impactful players not barely playing…

I’ve been wondering who is your biggest disappointment a player who started with us who had all the potential to be a club great but didn’t kick on.

Who comes to mind is Corey Paterson or Daniel Tolar, even Con Mika all highly touted but didn’t really kick on to the rep seen or consistent first grade. Another I reckon we didn’t get to see the absolute best of was Milton Thaiday
I was too young to remember anything about Dan Tolar except most people thinking he was a very average player. Was there a point in time where he was highly regarded? lol

In no order;
- beau henry
- Kyle odonnell
- con mika
- Ethan cooke
- Josh ailomi (sorry for incorrect spelling)
- Peter & sione
- Jake mamo
- Jarrod Mullen (don’t blame him for a second, if he was in a good system with a good 7 - he could have been anything. He simply was not a 7)
- Corey patterson
- Kade snowden
- Callan Richardson
- Luke walsh
- brock lamb
- Jack cogger
- Seu seu
- Danny levi
- Kirk Reynoldson
- likiliki (centre) - can someone fill me in on why he was only given 1 game in FG before we gave up on him? I thought he showed quite a lot of talent
- Tex Hoy
- Hodkinson
- Joe wardle
- costigan
- aiden guerra lol all the articles about him in the pre-season suggested he was going to have the impact of Stephen Crichton or Cooper Cronk lol

Pleasant surprises
- Friz - after guerra, I was worried he’d also be **** but he’s been nothing short of an awesome signing
- Vuna
- Sau
- Carney
- Marzhew
- Taia
- Hilder
- 2nd coming of Doogs
- Faaso
- Barney
- Taufua
- McKinnon (I thought he’d be good, but far out was he quickly turning into an absolute star. His physicality leading to opposition errors in big moments at such an early point in his career reeked of future SOO player - still heartbroken for him)
- Mase, he was great for us

Luke Walsh is a harsh call.
The little guy made the most of his small frame and had a great career, or rather, is having a great career. I see he has signed for Macquarie for next year.
I'm worried about Pezet being only 80kg and Walsh had to be constantly eating junk food and wear full gear at weigh in to crack 70kg.
