That was one of the funniest games I've seen. The ebb and flow was ridiculous. I watched from 12 nil and it was 12 sets to 4. But the second Parramatta got ball down the other end they scored 3x to horrible defence.

Second half was broncs trying to score every play and another of rubbish defence bothways.

I think a good defensive team would have wiped the floor with both clubs

Will feel a bit sad when Alex Johnston breaks Ken Irvines record, no doubt it will happen. Looked up stats and assumed he had played a lot more games but only 8 at this time.
Irvine 236 games for 212 tries. Johnston 244 for 211 tries.
Ken I was the reason I started following league while still at school was more into Soccer, born in Scotland. My following also meant following The Bears and many visits to North Sydney oval where I became a big Greg Florimo fan.

I my opinion crowd spoiled the occasion, being present at the game to witness it should have been enough.
