I should probably give this a rest because it's driving me a bit mad lol.
You're arguing with POS, maybe write him a nice long email?

If you're POS who are you chasing to play 7?We absolutely can pivot to other options at hooker though. We tried to sign Leo, missed and pivoted to other options at prop to replace him. Tried to sign Jonah, missed and pivoted to Brown. If we miss on Smith, we'll no doubt try to sign someone else.
Alright I've written a draft:You're arguing with POS, maybe write him a nice long email?

Money doesn’t dictate position. He already spent $1.3m a year on that player.
Has anyone at the club publicly declared we have told him he will only be playing 9 or has it just come through the media?
100%Money doesn’t dictate position.
If he has the chance to go for Sandon as a halfback he should, it’s a cut price deal for a really good young halfback with potential and has shown he can handle first grade, this will put Brown into five-eighth and Sharpe either wing, centre of fullback if KP leaves.
that way you wouldn’t need anyone to learn a position literally you’ll be putting everyone in their right roles, why is this bad? Sharpe can go to wing where he excelled before.
So no changes everyone’s happy in their original roles
I hear you with Marzhew, but apart from yardage, what else does he offer that Sharpe is already miles better than him, assuming Sharpe goes back to wingMy only issue with Sharpe playing in the backline (centre or wing) with Ponga already at 1, is our back 3 meters. As much as Marzhew irritates me, him and Young generally get our sets off to a good start - not that it goes very far.
Can we afford to have Ponga and Sharpe at the back? It's asking a lot of Young, Best and Gags, who's age will inevitably catch up to him shortly.
But on the flip side, if Smith beats Sharpe for the halves jersey, I can only see it being a positive. And a nice change have 2 competent halves for the first time in a while.
TBF i love that we were able to keep Gags, but if we all took our rose coloured glasses he doesnt score tries or create bulk assists. His impact is over sold because he bumps off tackles a lot, but a poor team like us needs cheap tries scored from our CTW's and he should be leading that. This is not Gags hate just an observation. When turbo and Trell killed it in origin, it was almost like Turbo was playing like an extra full back. I can see Sharpe playing a similar role in the centres. Let Marz, Gags, etc fight it out for the wing spot.
I think Gags was making quite a few too many errors at the back end of this year. He’s a good winger. Not as good as Greg but he’s still good in yardage. And Gags is obviously much better under the high ball.

I would think score more than 2 tries for the year. Make clean breaks by himself. When the attack is functioning well his positioning, understanding of running lines and quick hands = catch and fall tries for his wingers. Otherwise what is he supposed to do, pull stuff out of his arse? He's 9th in the comp for line break assists atm so doing pretty well considering how bad the team has been.
Which I agree on all of those things. I love him not turning on him but that’s an observation. We need pointsWell, he's old. That's why I think it's time for him to sit on a wing and mentor a replacement. Still very good in yardage, still a great communicator etc in defence. We can't turn on every bloody player lmao. There have been games this year where we've been flogged and he was the best player on either team. I would be questioning others before him.
