People seem to forget that under the current rules, should Leo sign with another club, they have 10 days to change his mind.

So should the Raiders beat our offer, we can gazump them with a last minute jacked up offer should we wish to. It will depend how badly they want to keep him.

Going back to this list got me thinking, they were all at the tail end of their rep careers.
Trying to think of a rep player we signed in their prime and I can only come up with BK (and what a signing it was, our best ever imo).

KPP debuted for England at the World Cup after the 2022 season. His signing wasn't officially announced until that December but Toohey had been saying it was a done deal since midway through that year. So technically you could make an argument either way, but don't think anyone would say he was in his prime then so doesn't really fit the criteria anyway.
