Newcastle is definitely a much better place to live. A nice city to live in, friendly people with a laid back lifestyle, easy to get around, great beaches everywhere, exceptional wineries, good place for children.

Canberra’s climate goes from very cold in Winter to very hot in Summer and it does not have any beaches. I have never lived there, so I don’t know what it is like to live there.

Didnt realise until now that Leo has family in Canberra and so does his partner. So there's a fair sign to where that is going.
 
Not sure what the Raiders are thinking. The LAST thing they need is another forward. They are literally stacked for forwards, they have 3 or 4 first grade calibre forwards playing in reserve grade.

Papalii will be gone after next year most likely. Leo is a good replacement (and possibly Tyrone if he does well in firsts).
 
maybe the are thinking we can get a rep caliber prop for below market vaule because he wants to come home. then let their less favourable prospect walk to get an opportunity in a bear market for props? Sounds pretty sensible to me
 
Surprise surprise bloke podcast all saying “they’ve got enough halves do they need another” - they clearly think our trash heap of halves are quality. Pezet has twice the potential of any of the ones we have now. (Besides Pryce who is a 5/8)

Guru even tryna put the spin of “he’s gonna be touted as our next saviour which is unfair on the bloke”

It’s at the stage of almost take l it or leave it with Leo, as there no use getting into bidding wars for a front rower and overpaying like we say with D-Saf . He probably sits in the top 11-20 top front rowers in the game, not top 10. could be make it there to that level, maybe, but he did show signs last year that weren’t great at times too.
Do I want him to re-sign….Yes
Should we break the bank and let him drag us along for ages…..No

It’s just unfortunate that we don’t have 5 gun front rowers already to go apart form Cody and Sua

That’s fair but they have players like Mariota, Mooney, among others that can’t make first grade. Even Horsburgh was in reserve grade last season.
