No reason it wouldn't work.
Linnane is a running 5/8 like a younger Will Pryce, but also defends way above his weight, unlike Pryce.
Pezet is an organiser, kicker, and the king of try assists.
Different skillsets that should work together.
 
Obviously a bit of chat about Ponga to the roosters after 2027. If we can hold onto sharpe and some how develop a good set of halves. I’d rather that then have a 30 plus ponga for a year or two in 28 and 29

I rated him in Harold Matts as the best of a pretty poor squad, but in 2023 he got dropped back from SG Ball to Laurie Daley cup for two games. He absolutely tore up in LD cup - from memory he scored 5 tries in 2 games and did well enough to get picked for country under 18s, just based on 2 games.
He was quickly put back into SG Ball and went from strength to strength. After the ball season he played 1 game for Kurri firstgrade before being called up to Flegg or the rest o the year - 2 years young.

So in 2023 he;
Did did an SG Ball preseason.
Got dropped from Ball.
Tore up LD cup.
Went back to Ball and went all the way to losing the GF by 6 points.
Picked for Country V city under 18s,
Debuted for Kurri n the real NRL
Played Flegg for the rest of the season 2 years young.
Got his first firstgrade preseason and was kept all pre season despite being the youngest in the squad.

In 2024 he got an ACL in his first game and spent the ret of the year in rehab, till he started pre-season a few weeks ago.
