2022 team

1 Ponga , 2 Gagai , 3 Young , 4 Best , 5 Tuala ...From what i saw and read when he got here , Young is a Centre who played wing a few times and i personally think centre is where he should play next season .

Wouldn't be a bad lineup, but I think we'd be paying a lot of money for Gagai to be out on the wing. If Young pushes for that centre spot then I'd be all for it, but otherwise I think having Hunt outside Gagai would be our best combo. Gagai's defence is suspect but he can certainly attack, and I think Hunt will some dividends from it.

Think Hunt is hard done by playing outside Mann, has extra defence to do and gets very little ball, mostly from the hit ups from returning kicks. Think he would be very good outside Gagai, might still have lots to do in defence but will likely benefit from a few passes he rarely sees now

Bunnies fan who I chat to Said gags has improved his D alot since this year's origin. He used to slam him as a revolving door, but had been impressed lately.

Let's hope that's what we get

I think I’ve said this before but if the break is made further infield and then Fox is the try scorer backing up, it doesn’t count as Fox “scoring on” Gagai. Benji was the defender the Storm were picking on in that game, not Dane.

Ah jeez i completely forgot about Hunt and imo he should be in the team for sure. It will be and should be who trains the best i guess so it will be interesting in 6 months lol.

I like that backline, also think Hunt would go well in the centre over Young.

The NBN sports reporter in the '60s and '70s, Noel Harrison, always used to say that you never knock a champion because they have ways to make you look a fool, but I think Pearce is done now, and if he comes back bigger and better next year, i'll be happy with that too.

The other thing Noel Harrison said that's always stuck with me was when he said Wally Lewis was the fastest player over 6 inches he'd ever seen, and the 6 inches were between his ears.
