I’d be keen to see Croker get one of the remaining spots. Even just a one year deal. You hear a lot of good about how much he puts in at training etc and I can’t help but think it can only help our junior development if it’s clear there’s a pathway if you put in the effort to earn it.

Jarryd Hayne has walked free from prison but the former NRL superstar could have to wait until 2023 to face a jury again.

Seriously, tragic news for the victim though 😔
 
Leaving aside the fact he has not been acquitted, he needs to be tried again, and therefore will still be subject to the no fault stand down policy, the facts of what he did to this woman are pretty disgusting whether or not they add up to a sexual assault conviction.

Maybe some people on here being okay with signing Milford (myself included) might have indicated otherwise, but I don’t think the prevailing opinion on here is “no conviction = fair game to sign”. It’s a case by case thing.
