Now that Hayne's conviction has been quashed what do we think about signing him , he is a game changer and game winner .. The NRL wont be able to say no to someone signing him and i dont reckon the DPP will try for a third courtcase .
If fit he could be a good cheap buy .

Can't find any further details or reference to this hearing happening in the press...but and earlier article suggested this hearing is only likely to set trial start date - if that's the case, then he is not likely to be freed up by the NRL anytime soon

Have to disagree, trials starting, most clubs have quota filled we are short 4 positions that we will likely fill with unfit, possibly injured (Lee) or local juniors not as good as those we have let go.
Something has to happen soon with signings to ensure we have best available, not necessary best, to fill our squad and allow those not in top 26? To know what is happening, surely doubt leads to trouble.
Feel we will fill from within rather than from out, seems like we are waiting on Milford and Lee to fill spots rather than chasing possibilities and even with them we will be short, recruitment has been disappointing
