Damn. All the schedules still say it's played May 1st, 3 PM at Charlestown. I was going to go to that game instead of firstgrade.
Good win - it keeps us at equal 1st and drops the Thunderbolts to 7th.

Oddly, I don't think O'Brien is a hooker and they have named 3 hookers in reserve grade including Flegg regular Rugless.

We play Penrith this week, and I suspect many of the Penrith Flegg players will be the same guys who knocked our Ball side out in a semi a month or so ago.
 
What do we make of Sutton getting the start at half and Henderson only making the bench? Henderson seemed to set up a lot of points in Ball and had a great understanding with Sharpe.

O’Brien has mainly played hooker in his Junior career for Central.

Says a lot about where the club stands Mitch Black now. Temple Kelepo must be injured. Noah Nagliova must have been carrying an injury too. Neither playing in the local comp either.
 
Fletcher Sharpe has had a big few weeks.
Played for city under 18s against country and had a pretty good game
Last week made his firstgrade debut for Cessnock and scored 2 tries
Named Knights SG Ball players player a year young
Making his Flegg debut at age 17 tomorrow
