He has never been found guilty of anything ... remember accusations without evidence on this forum can lead to me getting sued for defamation. Goody goody gumdrops.
What accusation has he made?? I don't think he is really suggesting Lui is feaces.. Lol... Can't get sued for that!! I know I'm only making light of it, but in all seriousness, if what has been reported in the paper is even half true, society as a whole should condem what's happened. (again I emphasize; if it's true)

These are Police allegations which were never tested in court.

Can we please just respect my wishes on this one? You guys aren't the ones who are liable for anything, but it's no joke to me.

I know he is good mates with Ray Thompson, who may be on the outer. So a bit suprised he has moved up there, obviously the Tigers have had enough of him.

I wish him well.

No worries James will do.

Domestic Violence is that an offence in NSW ? In QLD it is not an offence until the DVO/conditions have been breached. Or has she made a formal complaint agaist him as well as a DV application ?

Are you serious? Violence against any person is Assault.. You don't need an AVO to be enforceable to be charged with assault and in fact DV legislation in most Australian jurisdictions places an onus on the police to investigate and take legal action if domestic violence is detected.. The cooperation of the victim is not needed for a prosecution to occur.

hahahahaha

Why are you laughing ?

@ defender Like I said this is the legislation in QLD. Yes by all means police have to investigate all criminal matters, and if they have reason to believe dv has occurred then they HAVE to do a DV application whether the aggrieved wants to or not. We can't solicit a complaint from a victim of dv, in relation to assault or any of the other acts that constitute DV.

Anyway, probably the wrong place to have this conversation and just wanted to know if DV is an offence in NSW as it is not in QLD.

packo, I'm assuming you're talking about specific legislation and responsiblities in respect to the application of an Order. I am not an expert on Criminal Law in QLD, but I'm sure you need to look more broadly at your Crimes Act or Criminal Code (I think it is up there) at offences relating to violence. I can not believe that the police in QLD have to wait for a victim's consent to charge an offender for offences of violence??

By your reckoning, if for example; a police officer witnesses a husband bashing his wife to the point she sustains significant injuries and is incapable of making a complaint (ie a cognitave injury, or worst case scenario is killed) they can not arrest and charge the husband with the assault or murder, without her consent??:crazy:

PM me and I'll explain where I'm coming from!!

Luke it is not an offence in QLD, you do not charge someone with "doestic violence" Many things constitute what makes up domestic violence, not just assault matters. As I said not the place to chat about it, but PM me if you want.

Packo is right as awful as it is, the police can't really do anything unless the woman wants to press charges. There have been massive pushes for the law here to be changed and it can't happen fast enough.

Geez Manly are in a bad way for a premiership winning team. The Stewart brothers are reportedly unhappy with the management & possibly may leave. The Dragons are after them & if they managed to pull it off, what a recruitment drive that would be!

Fairly funny for Manly though, i'd hate to be a fan right now.

Added after 2 minutes:

Btw for Alicia, Sam Rapira extended his re-signing from 2012 to 2014.
