Well four nations start tonight. Should be a pretty good game NZ v England. Lets hope Junior Sau has a great game and can get a few tries. Im going for NZ just cause Sau is playing for them.
 
junior has already scored an manu is gone from the game with a suspected fractured rist an its only 10 min mark
 
BRENT TATE IN THE TEAM?! I have never been appalled at such a selection. I know its PNG...but that's no excuse to select third grade filth.

(no offence to tate personally, but he can't play for nuts)
 
Wasn't anyone watching tonight?!

Sensational team and a great crowd to kick off the tournament. Just got home.

NZ played well considering they lost Vatuvei within a few seconds (so gutted if he's out of the tournament, and what a blow to the Kiwis!!!). England were really good. I was super nervous when they scored their back to back tries in the second half. Gotta give them credit, they improved massively from their game last week against NZ Maori. They had to do a lot of defending on their own line and were pretty resolute about it. Not many cracks at all.

NZ will need to improve a lot to beat Australia though.

The retro jerseys were pretty cool, although NZ looked just like the All Blacks ... which was a bit gay.

My mate who was supporting England said after they got their first try that they'd go 90 metres in the next set and score again ... it was pretty amazing when they actually did just that hahaha. Should've asked him for next week's lotto tickets as he apparently got second sight for a few seconds there!!!

How good is Sa'u? He was going great guns for NZ, I'm sure he would of gone close to MOTM? :)
 
Great first half by the kiwis awesome try in the second by skw and junior had a brilliant match. Going to be a good tournament this year
 
I was watching bits of it last night, I didn't like the England jersey. Didn't watch the 2nd half cause I had to go somewhere but it didn't seem like Burgess and Ellis were doing much.
 
England's foward pack dominated but there backs couldn't do the job.

Burgess and Ellis we're explosive enough but there halves didn't offer them anything at all, all they did was turn it under for them to take the hit up. They both looked dangerous when Roby was trying to put them through gaps.
 
100 years since NZ and England first played in NZ ... and also 100 years since the NZRL was formed.
 
This Aus V PNG game is pretty physical, PNG are putting on some huge hits!

Australia is up 10 - 0 KTC aswell.

Pretty ordinary game of football!

PNG played with a lot of heart but weren't expected to beat a nation like Australia.

We won in footy but if a brawl broke out i think we'd be a bit stuff there. Thaiday, Civonecieva, possibly Shillington & Lote are the only real big men there :lol:
