2010 Four Nations

If New Zealand don't win this year, i will bloody amazed! I know you can never trust the Kangaroos to be down, but the Kiwis are fielding basically a fullstrenghth squad with no injuries, they have 3 games in New Zealand, & Australia having lost players such as Inglis, Lyon, Hayne, Thurston etc. i find it hard to see how Australia can win this.

The final is in Aus, though. Big advantage to Australia.

Can't believe Uate isn't being considered!

You would think it would be logical now that Hayne is out!

I was surprised by the selection of Lote Tuqiri. Thought Aku would be given a go, but oh well. He will eventually play in the green and gold.

I was really excited this morning, not the fact that Hayne was out but I thought Akuila might've been called up to play Four Nations, but like you said, oh well, he'll eventually play. :doubt:

although im a knight's supporter. but i dont think uate should be in for aus. :S
hes underrated. noone seeks him. they dont realise his importance, speed and courage.
hmmm maybe lote was a right choice. coops is good. i dont think gas was at full strength this year.
and no. if they get gidley swapped off. gonna get so ****ed :O

Gee, the Australian side needs all the experience it can get right now, with the amount of injuries they've had. I wish they'd picked Uate as well!

lol i think farah might be a utility, while sheens coaching why doesn't he chuck in ayshford and galloway as well.

I would doubt that actually, he dropped an in form Gidley from a game last year in the four nations for him and once again he proved he can't handle big matches.

From the looks of things I also think Carney will be starting or not playing at all.

Fa'aoso excited to play part in island battle

That decision on Boyd to be dropped for Tuquri is ridiculious, but Sheens definately made the right call on Gids.

For once the media hasn't made the decisions for the selectors.

Sheens is a crap coach and should never of gotten the position the first place. Dropping Boyd is a joke. If anything he should be making a case to play him at fullback and drop Slater.

Boyd is nothing great. I'd have Tuqiri ahead of him for sure, but I'd have had Boyd on the other wing ahead of Morris.

Agreed. What has Morris done this year, to deserve a spot.

He's been very average, and the only way he scored all of his tries, were from Boyd putting him down the sideline, which is where Dragons scored the majority of heir tries from.

He's done nothing compared to Uate, Gordon, Tuqiri, Boyd ect this season.
Yes, it's a mystifying selection that one. He was also one of NSW's worst.

I guess they are trying to be loyal.

Didn't know Gids could play second-row?!?!

Yeah, he plays there a bit for Australia.

He is nearly perfect for a Lock foward IMO, floating around where ever he wants and popping up where needed aswell as brilliant defence.

Yeah, i remember him going pretty good there one time. He even ran from dummy half alot and helped out in the halves just to mix his game up a bit.

It doesn't matter what position he's set to play as for Australia, because he pretty much plays like a half, hooker and lock, all in one.

He's the perfect utility

Yeah i guess he kinda plays a U9s, backyard footy style, just running around in random places to see what you can do with the ball.

Fa'aoso in the second row should be good, it looked as though he was playing that sort of role for us in the back end where we started picking up a bit. He hits the line pretty hard causing opposition defence to bend or break and he's got a bit of pace. I could see him developing into a decent second rower but then we'd be even lighter up front.

The same can be said for Taufua and Costigan. if anything we have good depth coming into next year, if anything we're lacking a prominent leader which Cross was. Hopefully the mixture of international experience and Origin experience through Costigan will be enough to get our boys up next season.

Thanks for the team lists btw.
