Good we have an afternoon match this week, got really sick of playing 2 night games in a row away. However I do feel for Souths & Parramatta...both teams haven't even had 1 afternoon game at their traditional home grounds. I especially feel for Parramatta...if the eels were playing at 2pm you would they could get at least 10-15k...but due to it being a saturday night game they will most likely get about 7-8k.

Before the trial at Redfern, Souths hadn't played there in a very long time..
 
Watched the 2nd half of the Dragons/Panthers game to watch Walsh play.

The first 10 minutes he played well taking on the line but then after that he went downhill and missed two important tackles which eventually led to tries. Both of them made him look like a turnstile + average last tackle options.
 
The past month he has just had to give the ball to the backs, abit of direction for the players.

Tonight he had to guide them around the park - and he struggled.

He seems to only have one play - and thats the high ball.

At least Dureau is more risky, will run on the last play.

It seemed that was his only idea at Newcastle as well, apart from running it close to the line on the final, just giving it to Paterson and hoping he'd crash through.

Worked for a few weeks, but once other sides cottoned onto it, it was a pretty lame last tackle play.
 
Seems abit strange the eels were wearing their blue strip against the sharks...I would have deff thought they would be wearing their yellow strip.
