They wanted a coach that wasnt coaching in the NRL so they could put 100% in it. I believe that Ricky has a line in his contract that states if he gets offered an NRL gig that he can step down from NSW. Can someone confirm that? Am I on the right track?

He'll only be Origin coach this year. If he picks up a 2012 coaching gig he wont coach NSW again next year.
