Centenary Test: Australia v New Zealand @ The SCG

My Bro's school was giving out tickets... only reason I'm going!

Well that's not gonna help the NZRL!!! As a trans-tasman gesture you should pay for your ticket haha. But why wouldn't you want to go anyway, it should be a great game. I reckon NZ will be a lot better than previously, since they actually have some of their first-string players over from the UK this time.

Green light for Thurston

May 09, 2008 AUSTRALIA half-back Johnathan Thurston passed a fitness test on his injured ankle this morning and will play in the Centenary Test against New Zealand at the SCG.

Well as the game approaches, I am expecting a dominating Kiwi performance. New Zealand by 40+.

Kiwis lose Roberts

May 09, 2008 NEW Zealand five-eighth Ben Roberts is in serious doubt for tonight's Centenary Test against Australia after injuring his hamstring during training.

It's been reported that the 22 year-old will almost certainly withdraw from the team.

More to come

Thats a blow, esp in the halves.

I'm hoping for a close game, I really really doubt the Kiwis will win convincingly if they do happen to win.

Would be good for rugby league if it goes down to the wire.

It'd be a great promotion for the World Cup if the Kiwis got close or won.

It will need the NZ players to have the best game of their lives, or Australia to be off the pace though (or both) because Australia have a much better side on paper.

Still say us by over 40 though haha.

Sounds bad but I wouldnt mind if Kiwi's did.

There are players in the Aus team who don't deserve to be there and by going down tonight proves it than so be it.
