NRL Round 22 - Knights Vs Broncos - 7:35pm Saturday, 1st of August - Suncorp Stadium

Also he shouldn’t have got the ball on the fifth tackle when nothing was on. Not his role to kick on the fifth.
Not sure I agree. Although its not his primary role, the primary kickers are occasionally rushed, or get a poor pass / a variety of reasons why they need to offload to the man outside, who is often a centre (but could be anyone). In first grade NRL, I would hope they have the basic skill and footy IQ to kick it somewhere down the other end of the field. If he was trying to do that, and shanked it, then the argument of it not being his primary role is valid. That not what happened, he tried a chip and chase around the halfway line when we were up on the scoreboard against last year's premiers, and one of the most lethal attacking sides in the comp. You would cop that from a rookie, but gags really should be much better then that IMO

I really wouldn't be surprised if Deisel Hagan gets a debut before the end of the year, maybe even next week if Graham's injury isn't good to go.
He’s the only one left in the full time squad I think that’s not injured but too young, when it’s with a depleted side already and have no back up apart from Tom Cant who ISNT a hooker, I think that’s would be a big liability. It’s a big step up.

Both Crossy and MecEwen potentially out is massive. Give them every chance into later in the week. Otherwise I hope Graham is available? We will miss Cross's defence.

On that he is a hugh part of why we are doing better defensively. And he’s not getting penalised now. He’s so quick chopping opponents down.

Sooooo, probably not the most accurate health update but my mate works at Newcastle airport and helped the lads with gear etc yesterday.
He noted, no moon boots, crutches etc. Which is a good sign.
He had a chat with Justin who advised he was happy with the result but said the best is yet to come.
Justin is very excited to show the supporters that we are the real deal. :):cheer:

Crossland doesn't look like the most seriously injured guy here. I personally wouldn't worry about it until the team is named, they just sounded like niggles and all sides are carrying those at this time of year.

How good, i love the wins with the young fellas playing also. Far better them learning in a winning environment instead of what the Safs and best etc had to endure. Hopefully it keeps rubbing off and set an ingrained culture at the club.
