NRL Round 1 - Knights Vs Cowboys - 1:15pm Sunday 1st March (AEDT) - Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas

That's a diagnosis from a guy 16000klm away.
Holbrook didn't think it was serious in the presser - but I suppose that could be wishful thinking. It could even be a cracked kneecap if it came from a knee clash as Holbrook said.
I've fractured a kneecap and can say that there is no way I was walking as freely as Fletch was.

Payten whinging about how the "cannonball" tackle was handied....was it a cannonball? That seemed to be the conclusion they came to when they realised it really wasn't a crusher and he had a knee issue? I'd have to see it again.

20 tackles and no misses though. He was on mostly during when we were struggling. Maybe his go forward had something to do with it but at least his defence held up I guess
There are certain players in the team who are going to be picked on effort & I would advise all of us to just ignore their stats.

We have a studs & scrubs lineup. If the scrubs hold their gloves up they’ve done their job.

Holbrook was saying in the presser that the boys needed this time together to bond and seemed very happy with the trip and the result.
2 weeks till we play again, but this game will give us some fitness and some confidence and bring all the boys together.
We should send them to Vegas more often.

Great effort. Attack looked better than it has the last few years even with a few unnecessary forced passes and our goal line defence against a top attacking team was immense.

Middles stood up big time. J Saf was the best forward on the field and Mooney, Friz and Crokes were all strong. Crossland deserves a mention too. Was strong on both sides of the ball other than 1 dud pass.

Ponga showed his class and was the difference. Some huge defensive plays from Gags too, he just gets better with age.

Shame about Sharpe because he was brilliant in the first 20 and I think we run away with the game if he didn’t get hurt.

Plenty of positives and a fair bit to work on too. Bloody stoked with the effort!

If Sharpe comes through OK and Friz avoids a ban it looks like the only downside of today has been missing Alyssa Healy smash 158 off 98 balls.
I had a similar situation on old boys day last year. We got 400 in a ODI against South Africa whilst I watched us get pumped by the Broncs. I made the wrong choice then but the right one today.
