NRL Round 1 - Knights Vs Cowboys - 1:15pm Sunday 1st March (AEDT) - Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas

Took another country for a win hahah
Lets gooo...what a win combos looking good. Sad about Sharpe hope is nothing serious and back strong next few weeks.

A+ for Justin Holbrook in that one. Excellent bench management:

- Croker playing one long unbroken stint where he’s not expected to do a lot more than make a bunch of tackles, connective passing etc - a very low ball running load. Cant relieving him to play out the game. That’s a role which makes sense for both. Croker isn’t an impact player but he’s very fit and doesn’t make a lot of mistakes. Cant has a very high work rate but he’s vulnerable to getting smashed by NRL calibre forwards - but not in the last 25 mins when everyone is buggered.
- McEwen is very good but asking him to play 80 every week is a bit much at this stage. Frizell coming back on to play the last 15 for him after 30 good mins in the middle is also very smart.

I don’t know if this was always the plan or it’s an adjustment to Sharpe having to come off but either way it’s somewhat outside the box thinking which makes the best of what we have available. It’s IMO exactly what Bellyache would do with our team.

Too early to tell, but has Holbrook fixed Marz? Even during the trials, his hands looked much better. This version of Marz should be re-signed and not packing his bags for Perth. Hope he can keep it up.

PCL for Sharpe?
That's a diagnosis from a guy 16000klm away.
Holbrook didn't think it was serious in the presser - but I suppose that could be wishful thinking. It could even be a cracked kneecap if it came from a knee clash as Holbrook said.

I can’t even say I can fault Gagai much even though it’s just one game. Definitely gotta be his last season you’d think. Going one too many and all

Channel 9 mentioned something along those lines during the Bulldogs and Dragons game so if they got it from that then fair enough and my bad.
