From what I’ve been told the organisation/Visas etc of staff and players has been pretty much sorted already a while ago before Xmas so shouldn’t be any issues
Limited to only 22 players I think and the coach and 2 assistants and most of support staff are wearing 2 hats over there as NRL only pays for certain amount of staff/players everything else comes out of the money the Knights would make off the game

On Trump/USA side They have also been told limited with merchandise that they can take over so won’t be much stuff available for give away etc unless the players are lining suitcases with heaps of gear to throw out to kids etc
Also limited on amount of pre workout and recovery type stuff they can take otherwise they are getting tarrif heavily on it as think USA gov wants the teams buying stuff over there.

As said elsewhere Knights contractually couldn’t put out a proper Vegas game jersey as already reached the permitted 5 for the year in home,away,indigenous,Anzac and hi-vis and weren’t allowed to budge on that so only the Vegas training shirt.

Not that it effects anything but you fly into LA and then to Vegas.

the early packages through the nrl did offer direct chartered flights to vegas through qantas, they were pretty expensive but. But yeah usual route is via LA or San francisco. California is the the bluest of blue states aswell.
 
Kind of didn’t realise until now the Storm haven’t gone yet which is kinda surprising?

Good as anyone and can put on a show, wonder if Bellamy was happy for them not to put their hand up for it or flat out say they’d rather not. As a team that’s always playing deep into the season most years and we saw what it did to Penrith last year I’m not surprised.
I guess also you don’t want to lose home games in Victoria either.

A lot of other fans I’ve spoken to say they wouldn’t rather their team go, and that it’s realy for the NRL admins/media to parade themselves around.
And seeing the non story about the Raiders and then that Broncos one a few years back why would players with families etc bother wanting to go?

Feel we are due for two sub par matches with the teams we are sending this year

I'm in the I'd rather my team didnt go brigade, but it really did no harm to the teams that did last year.
 
That Vegas warm-up training shirt was one of the pins that was an option for members to choose from this year. Another option was a pin of the new home jersey. As soon as I saw that, I immediately feared our Vegas jersey was going to be that plain white shirt. Happy to see it's only a training shirt, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's only a training shirt because they couldn't get it over the line to be an on-field jersey.
