Poor old Trent, great bloke, great clubman, terrible knee....I'm glad the days of offering a bloke getting stem cell treatment on his knee a top dollar contract are over (hopefully).
PS. I'll never forget the Knights re-signing Kade Snowden only for Kade to come out in media with words to the effect that he was really glad to get the deal done despite two "clapped out" knees.

I can also see Leo buying into the Dogs of War mentality and playing well. Probaby no better than his 2023 form, but still, better than now.

Maybe he’ll end up coming back to us … and his brother can join a real NRL team … hold on a sec.
Leo is a good forward, but he gets overrated in part because he has that intimidation factor. But he doesn’t dominate games the way you’d like him to.

It’s extremely sad to hear that some of our heroes from yesteryear, have had their quality of life destroyed and their lifespan shortened by the game.
Hopefully the present day concussion rules stop this type of thing from affecting current players

Sad to hear of those 3 with health problems but to be fair they might have contacted these medical conditions even if they hadn’t played NRL.
Many that haven’t played a hard contact sport have suffered these conditions.
