- Interested in TPJ but think asking price of $600k+ is too high.
- Leeson Ah Mau is the prop target, has visited Newcastle and toured the club.
- Wighton is on the radar pending the result of his indiscretion. He approached club before the season to see if they would be interested if he got a release, wants to play centre.
- It may not be Fat Pat's year after all. Can't make the NSW Cup team and played in a trial for Souths recently.
- Pythian may link with Lakes

Mooney and Brown are doing an awesome job in identifying quality and attracting them to the club... if we get TPJ, Ah Mau and Wighton, I'd be stoked. We'll rip teams apart next year.

I didn't think Wighton would be a chance because he would have to get past Gardner, maybe it still will be an issue, but if he gives the all clear then you'd have to think Wighton is a huge chance of becoming a Knight, we have the money & we definitely have the spot for him at centre.

Mitchell Pearce has had his fair share of farkups and he still wears knights colours. Just depends on how bad wightons offence is I guess.

Gardner will do whats best for the club first and foremost.
If wighton is available Gardner will do everything possible to get him here.

The tough stance blah blah blah will only matter when a player is representing the club.

All of Tooheys news headlines are positive news to me.
Even watching Pangai against us no way the broncos cannot afford to keep him

Latest Tooheys news
- Knights and Sione working on a contract extension and both parties are keen to get a deal done
His brothers (whoever is left) won't be apart of that

- Wallace took $675k or so to re-sign with the Titans and would have come to the Knights for a bit less but the extra year from the Titans was the deal breaker

- Hagan doesn't expect Ponga to be named for QLD and more likely 18-19th man

Doesn't seem like our plan to offer anyone who isn't a marquee guy in the mould of Pearce and Ponga more then three years.

Just the usual "Tour the Knights facilities" says the manager, "we can squeeze another hundred grand out of your Club" nonsense.

Never leaving the Titans.

- Knights set to break even or make a profit in 2018 after an estimated $50m in losses over the past decade.

- Plans already being made to keep Kalyn at the club beyond his current deal. Will look to upgrade and extend his deal long before he becomes eligible to negotiate with other clubs. Ponga and Pearce seen as the key building blocks for the club.

- Knights making a big play for Blake Ferguson and look likely to get him. Roosters coming back with an even bigger offer would be the only thing stopping it. Knights offering 3 years, which Roosters won't give him. Knights also offering an off-field role working with the Indigenous program.

- Knights rejected Bulldogs offer of Aiden Tolman, Greg Eastwood or Kerrod Holland in return for Jack Cogger getting an early release earlier this year.

- Storm assistant coach Jason Ryles is on the Knights radar for next year. He's held in very high regard as a coach of the future, especially for the work he does with forwards.

- The general feeling at the Knights is that Brock Lamb won't be at the club next year.

- Expect Knights to pick up a couple of new signings pre-June 30. No hints as to who but won't be big names.

- Knights have begun negotiations to re-sign Cory Denniss and will begin the same process with KenSio next week.

Just where is Lamb headed?
There is nothing set in stone but the general feeling at the Knights is young playmaker Brock Lamb won’t be at the club next season.

Where he is headed is pure speculation but with talk Parramatta is possibly looking to trade Corey Norman for Marty Taupau, the Eels could potentially become an option if he does decide to leave as expected.
